Things to note
The abstract is limited to TWO pages (page size fixed as A4, 297mm x 210mm). The text is limited no more than 500 words (please indicate the word count at the bottom of your abstract).
Font should be Times New Roman 11pt with the exception of the title, which should be Times New Roman 14pt Bold.
Figures and tables should be collected on the second page with captions in Times New Roman 10pt Italic.

Singapore International Chemistry Conference , 11-14 December 2016, Singapore Organized by the Department of Chemistry of the National University of Singapore (NUS), the 9th Singapore International Chemistry Conference in this series (SICC-9), will convene in Singapore in 11 to 14 December, 2016.
SICC-9 is expecting about 400-500 attendees from all over the world to join us at NUS U-Town, the National University of Singapore’s latest education hub, and be engaged in three-days of thought-provoking and in-depth discussion on the six main conference themes:

|WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The Department of Chemistry at the National University of Singapore (NUS) will be hosting the 9th Singapore International Chemical Conference (SICC-9) on 11-14 December 2016. This conference would be the ninth in the series of conferences and would focus on chemistry for functional materials.
The objectives of SICC-9 are (i) to reflect on the significant scientific developments in chemistry for functional materials, (ii) to discuss new ideas and trends in chemical sciences, and (iii) to raise the profile of chemical research in Singapore.
